Energy Upgrades 11

What does energy upgrade means?

Energy upgrade of a building (apartment, villa, office, industry, public buildings, etc.) is all the interventions that are done to reduce the energy needs of the building for heating, cooling, lighting, hot water and other functions.

According to official studies, Greek buildings are characterized as particularly energy-intensive, mainly because of:

a) the age of the buildings,
b) the lack of incorporation of modern technology in them.

Indicatively, according to official studies, an average Greek home wastes unnecessarily from 800 to 2,000 € a year in electricity and heating fuel.

By applying modern energy upgrading practices, property owners can achieve a 10-50% reduction in energy bills while reducing their environmental footprint.

By making the most of renewable energy resources (eg. solar, led lights etc.), homeowners can significantly reduce their annual energy costs and add important revenue to their annual income.
